There are a number of things you can do today that will help ensure that your message is received by Congress: Please help us tell Congress that they must recommend a licensed professional architect be the next Architect of the Capitol. Members of Congress need to hear from you today, that architects are the only professionals with the qualifications to manage the design, construction and maintenance of the Capitol complex. It would not be in the interest of Congress or the general public to entrust this responsibility to someone without the formal education, on-the-job training and professional experience of a licensed professional architect. Capitol and is responsible for the safety, security and health of all occupants of the Capitol complex.
